Welcome to my blog “Singing over the bones & rising from the ashes”!
Here I share with you my journey to healing from childhood sexual abuse but other forms of abuse as well. I am writing under pseudonym as my abusers could sue me instead of the other way round in the country I come from.
I called this place “Singing over the bones” as a reference to the book “Women who run with the wolves” from Clarissa Pinkola-Estes which has helped me a lot. But like La Loba we survivors collect the bare bones of our childhoods and sing over them again and again and bit by bit new healed women and men arise like the phoenix from the ashes. That is why my blog is also called “rising from the ashes”.
I tell about my story but as well how much I have done to heal and who and what has helped me. This blog hopefully starts living from all you thrivers and survivors out there, strong women and men who will change this society. I strongly believe in this!
You have already helped me so much on my journey and I am proud to belong to your tribe!
Be blessed!

Thank you for your courage in sharing your story. I wish there were more brave Angels like you so that we could stop the cycle of abuse in the world. We each have a moral responsibility to stand up and speak for those who have no voice and you are a shining example! Blessings, Joan
Dear Joan thank you very much
I think every single one of us does stop the cycle of violence but it needs time to be obvious. If I remember when I was young there was no help at all but now there are many help organisations, many blogs and information pages and people are a lot more aware of the problem. So a lot has happened. Pedophiles do not have it that easy any more even though it looks like it as the media shows so many more. But in the end Karma strikes back anyway. No one will get away! That is what I strongly believe!
